If you are considering purchasing a work from our 7 Islands Gallery that will be shipped to a destination within NZ we have included the cost of freight and will arrange a courier or specialist shipper for large crated work.

International Shipping System
If you are unable to collect work from our 7 Islands Gallery we will arrange packaging, freight and insurance. Transporting art is complicated but our work has been shipped worldwide for decades. The most important step, of course, is to carefully package the work and we do this ourselves. The other significant variable cost for sculptural works is that it is calculated on the volume rather than weight. In many cases we are shipping the cost of the air in the crate as well as the work.

Since there is no 'one size fits all' we need to make a calculation based on the material (e.g bronze is more robust than glass) and the overall dimensions for each work to come up with a custom-made solution to ensure your work is handled and transported with care and efficiency.

If your enquiry is for shipping to another country we will be using sea freight as air freight is not feasible in this time of Covid. As an indication of the cost of freight please add a factor of 1.15 to the NZ price, e.g. Listed price NZ$4950 x 1.15 = NZ$5692.50.
