The model of a corporate discovery process in a room in an urban hotel or conference centre only promises more of the same. Some measure of dissociation from the known or common routines is important if new thinking and innovative exchanges are to find free association.

Pukeruru is set up like a traditional Māori marae. There’s its atea or gathering place at the centre, where you are welcomed and an exchange of greetings takes place. The arrangement of outbuildings is village-like but the overwhelming presence and experience is of nature and environment. It connects us, reminding us at a primal level of
our essential connection with it and each other.

We Limit our Corporate events to 7 or 8 participants, partly because this is the number we can accommodate comfortably but more because the group dynamics have a better chance to be explored in a group this size. We liken this to the way a free-radical moves in space and connects with the particles around it: too many connections dilutes the quality.

We have structured our Corporate offering to make it memorable. Early evening on the first day you will be received in a quiet ceremony that honours Māori traditions of welcome. Over dinner we will tell stories of the history of this place and how we came to arrive here, of what there is to see and how to find your way around. It’s really just a scene setter that enables you to engage more freely over the next days of your stay.

The next day we will take you into a creative discovery process in the studio, designed to help you learn something new about your creative self. Remember, our focus is to reveal and unlock creative potential, its not to spin the latest great idea in corporate behaviour. For the balance of your time with us you are free to pursue your own programme.

The cost for a Corporate weekend is $7500 + get and includes all workshop materials, breakfasts, lunches and the Aotearoa special food experience on your first night as our guests. For a change of scene we will arrange a booking for you at one of the excellent local eateries for the second night.
