Birth of Gondwanaland
Material: Stainless Steel, Resin
Size: L1000mm x D780mm x D50mm
Description: Gondwanaland is the mythical name of the undersea continent surrounding Aotearoa New Zealand. Rūamoko is the restless youngest son of Ranginui and Papatūānuku and in Māori mythology he is said to be responsible for the massive under ocean volcanic eruptions that thrust these landforms into existence. The contours of the landscape are forming around the rippling sea as Rūamoko roars.
SHIPPING
Nationwide (Aotearoa) - Free: If you are purchasing work that will be shipped to a destination within NZ we have included the cost of freight and will arrange a courier or specialist shipper for large crated work.
International: Since there is no 'one size fits all' we need to make a calculation based on the material (e.g bronze is more robust than glass) and the overall dimensions for each work to come up with a custom-made solution to ensure your work is handled and transported with care and efficiency.
For international shipping we will be using sea freight as air freight is not feasible in this time of Covid. As an indication of the cost of freight please add a factor of 1.25 to the NZ price, e.g. Listed price NZ$6950 x 1.25 = NZ$8687.50.
*This includes a plywood crate and biodegradable packaging materials.
**Customs and compliance costs may apply on entry to your own country
